Highland Consulting Group, a construction specific recruiting firm specializing in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, is working with a well-established General Contractor in the Philadelphia, PA area to find an experienced Project Manager. This is a permanent, full-time position overseeing ground-up and fit-out projects from award to closeout with minimal travel required since most projects are within a reasonable commute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all phases of assigned construction projects.
- Develop and oversee project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Estimate, negotiate, and track change orders.
- Manage project budgets and approve expenses.
- Handle contract administration and subcontractor/equipment buyouts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project owners and stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project records and oversee closeout documentation.
- Conduct punch-list inspections alongside superintendents and owner representatives.
- Foster strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects of at least $5M.
- Strong mix of ground up and fit out experience.
- Project experience related to commercial, retail, healthcare and multi-family is preferred.
- Proven ability to establish timelines, budgets, and negotiate change orders.
- Strong multi-tasking and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead multi-discipline team meetings effectively.
- A Bachelor’s degree in construction or a related field is preferred but not required—strong industry experience will be highly considered.

- Anticipated salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000 annually. As required by local law, Highland Consulting Group believes that the attached salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position.
